Physical attraction is very important. The basis to any relationship is physical attraction. If you are not physicaly attracted to a person and they to you, then you can bet that all you will be is - Friends. This may be unfair and you may hate it but it's true. A person's personality will become important after you have established a physical attraction to them.
Physical attraction is definitely not the end all of relationships but it WILL determine whether you get that first date, that phone call, or even just a simple - "Hi, how are you doing?" It also helps that when you take this person to meet your friends and family that they also find the person attractive - it pumps us up and makes us feel good about our selection.
Spritual connection, great conversation, mutual respect, and friendship are VERY important in any relationship but you will only get that far once it has been determined that the other person finds you attractive. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!
